Summer College at Duke杜克大学夏季学院项目是专门为高中生开设，为期4周，方便来自世界各地学术积极性高的学生一起获取大学学分，帮助他们成为下一代领导者。Duke University杜克大学是一所世界顶级的研究型大学，也是美国南部最好的私立大学之一，长期位居美国前十。在这四周的时间里，学生可以

• 探索世界一流的大学课程
• 在知名的大学校园里享受一段真实的大学生活
• 结交来自世界各地的优秀学生
• 参加各式各样的学术活动等来充实学术和业余生活

Summer College at Duke课程

课程安排全部由杜克大学内部的各学科部门安排，为参与的学生提供了一系列不同学科的选择。每门课每周需要学生上五天课，每节课课时为两个小时零五分钟，每个班大概10-18个学生。学期末，上课的教师可能会安排学生参加期末考试，提交期末报告论文等。学生申请时可以列举出最想参加的4门课程，按照洗好排序。录取时，学校会根据实际学生和排课情况安排学生就读感兴趣的学科。具体开设的学科如下：

1. 10-11年级美高学生，10-12年级国际学生
2. 英语非母语的国际学生必须提交以下其中之一的语言标化成绩
   • Internet-based TOEFL不低于95分，最好100分
   • IELTS不低于7.0
   • Duke Univeristy EIS exam：针对无托福/雅思或成绩不够的学生
     • 网上申请，费用为125美金
     • 注册截止时间：2018年4月2日
     • 考试内容为：
       • A Skype interview (15 minutes)
       • Composing an academic essay (45 minutes)
       • Answering questions about a reading (30 minutes)
3. 国际学生应以F-1学生签证入境
4. why essay，题目是：why you are uniquely qualified for this program and interested in the courses for which you are applying.
5. 个人简历：需要强调学术背景和非学术活动
6. 高中成绩单（可接受非官方成绩单）
7. 一封老师推荐信
8. 标化成绩PSAT、SAT、ACT（非必须）
9. 申请费：50美金（美国学生）/100美金（国际学生）
10. 学费8,895美金包含以下项目：（国际学生费用可能会有所增加）
    • Tuition
    • Duke Transcript Fee
    • Housing
    • Dining
    • Program-Sponsored Activities
    • Linen Pack Rental
    • Ground Transportation to and from Raleigh-Durham International Airport
