夏令营分享之My Summer in Rectory
Hi, My name is Tony, I’m from SMIC school, grade six. This year, I went Rectory School to get in a summer program. Before that, I went to HVC twice, and once to the Fessenden ELL. I love reading and soccer, I have a great time with my friends on the soccer fields this summer in rectory school.
This year, I went to a Summer School at the Rectory school. I was very excited even before I got there. But after I got there, I find out that Rectory School is better than what I think it’s going be. There are 4 points why I like Rectory school.
I think the cafeteria there is nice.
The reason is that I think foods there are tasty and we also can have 1 or 2 choices. There is also a lot of rules in the cafeteria but I like them. The first reason is that if you want to get food the second time, you need to get a new plate. I think it’s important because it will make you look cleaner.
The second reason is about our dorms. I think the dorms are very clean. And also, teachers will tell us to clean our rooms and throw our trashes out of the dorms once a week. Also, you can clean your dirty clothes twice a week.
The most excited part is sports. Rectory’s fields are bigger than the normal ones. And we have one baseball field, 2 soccer fields(because of the season), 2 basketball fields and 2 tennis fields. We can play almost all the sports you want to play.
I have two interesting events.
One of them is abaseball match. On the first weekend in the summer Rectory, we went to watch abaseball game which is the Tigers against Lake Masters. Though both of the teams did a good job, but at last, The Tigers wins. And I spend all my money to buy abaseball hat and a signed baseball. The second one is a slipping slide. It’s agame that you put a plastic cloth on a slide and then pour lots of water on it,so you can slide down the slipping slides. I had a lot of fun on it and the headmaster even play this with us.
I really enjoy my summer in Summer Rectory.
