"Explore the mysteries of prehistoric life and uncover the mysteries of the world of giants."
Early in the morning, we arrived at the pit and museum in La Brea. And in front of the museum took a picture, began the ancient exploration journey.
La Brea Tar Pits, or Rancho La Brea Tar Pits, is a group of natural asphalt pits located near Hancock Park in Los Angeles, California. Because it is often covered with leaves, dust or water and other shelters, animals and other easily fall into it, so a large number of animal bones and fossils have accumulated over the centuries. On the edge of the asphalt pit there is the George C. Page Museum, which is dedicated to the study of asphalt pits and animal specimens found in the exhibition pits.
Natural bitumen is the residue of oil that oozes from cracks in the earth's crust and is exposed to long-term exposure and evaporation. The La Brea area is such a cracked place. Now walking through it, you can still see a lot of places with black asphalt bubbles coming out. This peculiar landscape creates excellent conditions for the preservation of biological fossils and also creates this unique fossil museum.
Students use a small wooden stick, and then try to put on the hand to observe, natural asphalt, almost no harmful substances, and more durable than artificial asphalt, life longer.
Everyone tried to pull the iron bar out of the asphalt, but it was very difficult, finally understand why the large animal fell down the asphalt pit, it is difficult to escape.
Later, walking into the museum, we saw a complete and vivid animal fossil, these are prehistoric extinct animals, but so real display before our eyes.
There is a showroom for visitors to watch the fossil treatment research process. From here, you can learn about the process of cleaning, identification, classification and protection after fossil mining.
Mining and research in the same place, this is the most unique charm of this museum. This not only facilitates the research and development of fossils, but also gives us a close opportunity to understand the opportunities of fossil mining research. There is a little brother who is obsessed with archaeology and said that it is a paradise for archaeologists. Which museum can show the latest exhibits while mining, and show the real-time fossil treatment process?
Looking at history, we are able to explore the present and see the future. The snoring of the ancient Titan spans tens of thousands of years, and it is seen from the asphalt pool, and it is resounding in the center of reinforced concrete. The heavy history, the pulsation of the earth, the progress of human civilization, reverberating in this museum.
After that, we had a short outdoor lunch, chatted about the understanding of what the museum saw and heard, and had a good lunch.
In the afternoon, we sat in the bus, across the most luxurious streets of Beverly Hills, saw the full-flout luxury store, and looked at the Beverly Hills sign from afar. Since Beverly Hills is mostly luxury, the streets are long, and every luxury store can't enter at will, so we don't get out of the car to go shopping, we just go around in the car.
After a visit to Beverly Hills, our bus drove to the famous Farmers Market Farmers Market, and we walked along the famous Sunset Street, with shops on either side.

The American vegetable market is not only a distribution center for agricultural products, but also a for local culture. Here, you will find food from all over the world. People and stories from all over the world will be merged into the national melting pot of the United States of America to learn, collide, and then hit new sparks. The United States does not seem to have any unique national characteristics. The history of the founding of the country for hundreds of years does not give him any profound historical connotations. But what is striking is that people from all over the world come together to seek common ground while reserving differences, giving each piece a colorful kaleidoscope of cultural landscapes. It has become a museum of ethnicity, a miniature model of the global village, and global culture. Reaction vessel for chemical reactions.
商业街The Grove
Behind the market is a famous commercial street, The Grove, which is covered with ancient bluestone roads, a year-old cinema, a smart music fountain, and a beautifully designed tram, which shows a lazy afternoon. Without losing the elegant landscape.
Stepping on the afterglow of the sunset, we ended today's journey, also ushered in the evening meeting. Today's theme is to introduce yourself and introduce everything interesting about yourself from a deeper perspective. We are calm and generous, more confident.
At the end of the day's trip, full of full of harvest, looking forward to tomorrow's wonderful.
