游学之英国萨里篇（二）
快乐的日子总是短暂的，眨眼就到了第二周。在这个星期里，在高昂的生活成本统治下，我们逐渐开始明白自给自足的生活究竟意味着什么了。当然，在繁忙的学习之余，好好享受英国的大学生活也是非常重要的啦。在准备课题以及演讲之余，我们不仅注重身体健康，例如足球飞盘橄榄球，还会在夜晚向往星空的静谧。
Time flies when we are having fun, our second week started in the blink of an eye.This week, amid the high cost of living on the restaurants in the town, we've come to understand what it means to be self-sufficient.In addition to preparing for the project and presentation, we had sports activities, such as football, frisbee and rugby. We even watched the stars on the lawn at night.
壹课程 Courses
进入第二周后课程开始变得更加丰富多样起来，除了英语听说读写的技能持续提升外，和蔼和亲的老师们开始带领大家做小课题啦。老师一步一步从引言开始，逐步帮助同学们提升学术修养。不仅在论文写作上做了专项训练，更是学习了严谨认真的学术引文的方法。小课题需要我们做一个25份问卷的小调查，大家按照“提交提案-伦理审核-设计问卷-试调查”的步骤完成了问卷部分。接下来就是“劳民伤神”的派发问卷环节，聪明能干的我们一定可以顺利收集！
After the second week, the courses began to become more diversified. In addition to the gradual improvement of English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, the amiable teachers began to lead us to do small projects. The teachers helped us improve our academic accomplishment step by step from the introduction part. Not only we did the special training on paper writing, but also learned the rigorous and serious attitude towards academic citation. The small project requires us to do a small survey of 25 questionnaires. We completed the questionnaire part according to the steps of "submit a proposal – fill in an ethical form -- design a questionnaire – perform a trial survey". The next step is the distribution of the questionnaire. We believe everyone can successfully get a satisfying result.
每天下午的英国文化课更为生动有趣。除了英国的独特文化、美丽风光外，同学们也学习如何用英语与病人沟通，大家甚至进行了医患角色扮演，这也让我们感受到了真正想做一名医生的不易。
Afternoon English culture classes are more vivid and more interesting. In addition to the unique culture and beautiful scenery of Britain, we also learned how to communicate with patients in English. We had the role play of doctor and patient, which made us realize how difficult it is to be a doctor.
贰课余生活 Extracurricular activities
在熟悉了周围的环境后，我们对自给自足的生活有了更加深入的探索。周中一个半小时的午休虽然看起来十分充裕，实际上回寝室烧菜洗碗还是十分紧张。炒饭，意面看来是我们简便又美味的最佳选择。
After getting familiar with the surroundings, we had a deeper exploration of our self-sufficient life. Although the lunch break is one and a half hours, which seems to be very abundant, it is actually very tense for us to go back the dormitory and do the cooking and dish-washing. Fried-rice and pasta may be the best choice for us to have a simple and delicious meal.
最考验我们的当然要数晚饭。Tesco一只4镑整鸡买回来，盐和胡椒按摩按摩，保鲜膜盖上静置冰箱一晚，第二天晚上放进烤箱一个小时，比Tesco里加工过的成品鸡好吃多啦！原本做饭磕磕巴巴的我们在这周内厨艺突飞猛进，纷纷化身为大厨。
The biggest challenge of all, of course, was the dinner. In Tesco we can buy a whole chicken for only 4 pounds, then “massage” it with salt and pepper. After processing the chicken, the only thing we need to do is to leave it in fridge overnight with plastic wrap and put it in the oven the next day. It is much better than Tesco's processed chicken. This week has seen us take on new roles as chefs.
吉尔福德远离伦敦城市的繁华，夜晚格外静谧。十点钟的我们披着寒风，踏着露水，走上草地，缓缓抬头，满天繁星。平常只在摄影照片里看过的北斗七星，在我们的眼前清晰可见。星星是如此珍贵，多想时间静止在那一刻，只有眼前那写璀璨耀眼的星星。
Guildford is a quiet village which is far away from London. At ten o'clock we were draped in the cold wind, stepping on the dew, walking on the grass, and then slowly looking up the starry stars. The Big Dipper, which had been usually seen in photos, was clearly visible in front of our eyes. The stars were so precious that we wished that time was still at that moment; only the stars were dazzling in front of us.
到了周末，我们纷纷前往了自己心仪的目的地。比斯特购物小分队买到了划算的大衣和衬衫，伦敦小分队吃到了人气爆棚的龙虾，看到了向往的塔桥和西敏斯教堂。
On the weekend, we went on our expected destination. The Bicester team bought cost-effective coats and shirts, and the London team ate the popular lobster and visited the Tower Bridge and Westminster Abbey.
