本次游学同学们参观了澳大利亚西部城市珀斯。

珀斯，是西澳大利亚的首府，也是澳洲的第四大城市，作为西部的中心城市在这里拥有美丽的海岸线，丰富的当地物产和令人难以置信的国家公园，拥有着和东海岸一样又独具魅力的人文风情。

 

Student Report on Australian Camp in Perth

Time: 2019 Jul 28 to 2019 Aug 12

During this trip ECC visited the city of Perth in Western Australia. Our students were hosted by the school of St. Stephen’s. St. Stephen’s is high-end private school in Western Australia. It is ranked in the top 10 schools nationally. St. Stephen’s has two beautiful campuses, both are equipped with professional gymnasiums, chemistry laboratories, swimming pools, etc. During this trip, ECC and St. Stephen’s designed a buddy system where ECC students were accompanied by two local students from St. Stephen’s at all times when they were in school. This buddy system is designed specifically to make visiting ECC students feel comfortable in a new environment. Local students would court them and guide them during this experience and ask ECC visiting students to participate in all regular activities that the local students would normally conduct, but also went above and beyond in planning school parties and activities, like putting on a play with the middle school drama students. Apart from the school experience, ECC students had the chance to explore the city of Perth, the biggest bell tower in Australia, see wildlife, touch and play with Australian animals like Kangaroos and Koalas, watch a farm show where sheep were herded and shaved, go to the beach, go shopping, visit a chocolate factory, visit a honey farm, visit the Perth mint where they make gold, visit a real mining site, visit a camping site of the school’s property, and much more. ECC’s relationship with the school is a strong one, and the school is willing to accommodate our needs and any changes we may want in the future.

 

珀斯澳大利亚夏令营学生报告

在本次夏令营游学中，ECC访问了澳大利亚西部城市珀斯市。我们这次游学由圣斯蒂芬学校接待。圣斯蒂芬是西澳大利亚的高端私立学校，它是全州排名前十的学校。圣斯蒂芬有两个漂亮的校园，都配有专业的体育馆，化学实验室，游泳池等。在这次游学中，ECC学生由来自圣斯蒂芬的两名当地学生陪同在学校的所有时间，这使得ECC学生在新环境中感到更加舒适。当地学生会在这期间帮助指导他们，并邀请ECC学生参加当地学生通常会进行的所有常规活动，让他们参与到学校派对和活动策划中，例如与当地学生一起表演舞台剧。除了学校的体验，ECC学生还有机会探索澳大利亚最大的钟楼；看野生动物，触摸澳大利亚动物如袋鼠和考拉；观看羊群放牧和剪羊毛的农场表演；去海滩、去购物；参观巧克力工厂，参观蜜蜂农场；参观珀斯造币场，那里制作黄金；参观真正的采矿场和学校露营地等等。ECC与圣斯蒂芬学校建立了良好的合作关系，学校愿意满足我们的需求和未来可能需要的任何变化。
