研学时光已过半,第三周的第一天,我们再看看有哪些新鲜的事情。这是小学部科学课上的编程启蒙课。老师和同学们一起设计了一个程序,用程序来控制外部电路,据说是一个打地鼠的游戏。小菲同学也学过一段时间的编程,一直想让她体验这种程序可以控制电路的编程,然并卵。我们的孩子还在沉迷于电子游戏的时候,人家的孩子已经开始深入了解游戏的原理进行游戏程序开发了,竟然还结合了电路。
我们想接触这样的课程,是要花大笔的钱在课外培训机构才能接触到吧。孩子们应该非常喜欢这种程序和实际结合起来的乐趣,能自己编程设计出来实实在在可以玩儿的游戏,还会有多少孩子沉迷于别人开发的游戏之中呢?今天还看到了一个图形设计启蒙课,孩子们自己设计一个小怪兽,也是个对称图形的设计。这些启蒙课,无论是编程的启蒙还是平面设计的启蒙,都能很好的与未来进行衔接,这些面向未来的能量提升,动力十足也乐在其中啊。
下面再看看孩子们在住家的表现吧,他们不仅每天做好自己的房间整理,还会通过帮助homestay家做些家务,读书、游戏等方式做好语言交流和互动,瞧瞧这个home father有多么认真负责,他不会放过任何一个可能你都放过的小细节,这种诚恳、友善、认真、负责的样子也是当地的一道靓丽的风景吧。
初中的图文信息有限,以此感谢老师们的辛苦付出,你所看到的岁月静好,一定是有人在背后负重前行。
初中部当然也会有编程等建模课程,这是跟初中领队的聊天记录,同样作为一个理工出身的我,对我们小学、初中、大学的情况非常的清楚,特别是对领队老师说的连接电路板这些,深有同感,我们绝大部分参与或者从大学里走出来的人,充其量也只是一个会读书的人,做些跟实际相关事情的信心、动手能力以及参与的经历等严重不足。至此,我们,无论是现场经历还是隔着屏幕看每天信息的人,不免深生羡慕。我们清楚对于一个人来说,那最重要的前二十年的经历将如何影响人的一生。
这是上周毕业的孩子妈妈的感言,我相信,最后返程的那批孩子和家长,一定有相同的感言,即便开始有些不适,但最后留下的都是恋恋不舍,这些就是成长的过程吧。此次研学带给我们的不仅是孩子的成长,还有对我们家长提出的问题和思考,从现在开始,我们应该认真的去思考,接下来的教育,过去的都已经过去,我们一起面向未来。
最后,我们一起来看看上个周六孩子们去怀托摩萤火虫洞(Waitomo Glowworm Cave)后回来写的日记吧。
Today I went to glowworm cave. The silk thread hanging from the ceiling looked like a string of stars. It was very beautiful. I went to burger king with my family that night, I order a chicken burger with tomatoes, But I got a chicken burger with cheese. It was weird.

Today we went to the firefly hole, the most angry person is that I hate and fear of insects! First we walked into a hole, where black and black, with stone stalactites on the ceiling and dripping water. We walked in again and saw some fireflies, and I thought new Zealand would spit like spiders and fireflies was too scary! Let's get in the boat and leave here...

Today we came to the firefly cave.The fireflies here are different from those in other places.Actually, we called it glowworm.
glowworm here hang like spiders from stalactites overhead.
We also took a boat to see glowworm.Stalactites are beautiful,but they’re even more so with glowworm .

Today we went to see the fireflies in the hole. There was nothing when I got into the hole. Go in. We found a SpongeBob. We walked on and found a lot of fireflies. And thin lines. Finally we got on the boat and found the walls full of fireflies as beautiful as the stars in the sky.
