美国哈佛教育学家Jeanne Chall在自己的书Stages of Reading Development中，把孩子的阅读过程分为了两大阶段-六个过程。

Learn to Read

1、准备阅读（0-6岁）

2、自然拼读（6~7岁）

3、流畅阅读（7~8岁）

 

Read to Learn

4、通过阅读了解世界（8~14岁）

5、多视角阅读（14~18岁）

6、成为批判性阅读者（18岁以上）

Learn to Read阶段是学习「阅读」这项技能，比较简单，从绘本到故事书，重复模仿，最终体验阅读这个过程，培养读书的兴趣和习惯。

Read to Learn阶段，阅读变成了一种工具，来了解这个世界，学习各科的知识，会批判思考。

由此看出，孩子能从小学会阅读这项技能，培养良好的爱好和习惯尤为重要了。但是，“挑书”是个技术活，尤其是，想让从小培养孩子阅读英文原版书籍，家长们到底有什么好的选择？

今天课代表就来推荐，从5-12岁，1-6年级，看看英国小学阶段的孩子都在看什么书吧~

EYFS-5岁之前

这个阶段，孩子处于准备阅读阶段，更多喜欢和父母一起互动看书，内容上也多以图片为主，尤其是针对3-5岁，托儿所、幼儿园、Reception Year的孩。
所以这个时期，英国孩子的阅读也多以绘本为主：

在这个阶段，孩子经常把注意力放在单词形状和读音上，不去关心单词的意义。比如，孩子或许能轻轻松松读出下面的单词：there, their, they're 但孩子不知道 3 个单词的意义差别。
