In the Morning课堂时光

Jack: P.E.

老师说:课堂上学生很积极的参与互动,课堂气氛很好。在体能练习时,大家都很认真的去练习,使自己得到充分的锻炼。在进行趣味性游戏时大家也都很积极的参与进来,气氛活跃。在球类运动时也有充分的积极性。学生纪律性很好,运动积极活跃。

Teacher Anna: Study Skills( Note-Taking)

老师说:第四节学习技巧课主题是如何高效记笔记。笔记对学生来说是学习中的重要部分,做好笔记不仅能够帮助学生快速掌握知识点,更加能够在复习的过程中提高复习效率。本节课通过学习美国康奈尔笔记法,学生学会了如何在课堂上抓重点,抓关键点,并且如何运用笔记进行有效的复习。希望学生在以后的学习生活中有效利用康奈尔笔记法,提高学习效率,考出好成绩。

In the Afternoon

Teacher Artem: Math

老师说: The most important part of summer camp is to build student’s self-confidence so they will actively participate in numerous activities. My main goal is to adjust students to the western style of teaching, which will definitely help them in their future study. During our classwork, every student has a chance to speak out.
夏令营的最重要一部分为了建立自信心,这样他们可以积极参加各种活动。我的主要目标是调整我们的学生的思维让他们适应西方教学模式,这些对他们以后的将来学习有很大的帮助,在我们的课程当中,每个人都可以有机会发表自已的想法。

Teacher Jake: World History

老师说:Today in history class we discussed some famous inventions. First we watched a video about the top 10 inventions from history and then we discussed how inventors come up with the idea; which is creativity. After the video we talked about famous inventions from Europe, Asia, Africa, and Americas. While talking about inventions from Africa, we found a young boy who invented lights to keep lions from eating his animals. We watched a TED Talk speech that the boy gave describing how he got the idea for the lights and how his invention has changed his life. Students then talked about some inventions that we use today and if they are as popular as when they were first invented. Overall, i think it was a great way to get the students to think about what they can accomplish when they are creative!
今天在历史课上我们讨论了一些著名的发明。首先,我们观看了一段关于历史上十大发明的视频,然后我们讨论了发明者如何提出这个想法; 这是创造力。视频结束后,我们谈到了来自欧洲,亚洲,非洲和美洲的著名的发明。在谈到非洲的发明时,我们发现了一个发明灯光的小男孩,目的是防止狮子吃掉他的动物,详细地描述了他如何发明灯光以及他的发明如何改变了他的生活。最后,学生们谈论了我们今天使用的一些发明,以及它们是否像第一次发明时那样受欢迎。总的来说,我认为这是一个很好的方式让学生思考他们创造性时可以取得的成就!
