什么是补充文书？

申请美国大学时，除了要提交通常一篇个人陈述文章（Personal Statement 简称PS）即Common Application系统里面的主文书外，很多学校还会另外出一些独具特色的文章，我们这里统称为补充文书(Supplement Essay)。

补充文书的内容

1. 补充文书要求字数偏少，一般在150-250字之间，最多不超过500字。

2. 主题要求：与主文书确定的6个题目相比较，补充文书更加多元化，形式更加丰富，提问的范围更加大。

3. 补充文书的题目很多是需要申请者提供申请该校的原因、自己为什么选择此专业、做过什么相关活动或实习等等题目，需将自己和申请院校的特点有机的结合在一起来写。
