学区介绍
学区成立于1972年，是全美排名第二的夏令营。教师来自所在学区的公立学校。因为该区域公立学校有近百分之四十的学生来自世界各地的移民，教师有丰富的国际学生教学经历。
以这次授课老师为例，她在该学区教学29年，参加夏令营课程有10年。
I have been involved with the Summer Enrichment Academy for ten years. I have also had the privilege of teaching in the School District for the past 29 years and continue to truly love teaching. In addition, my four sons are all graduates of Schools District.
课程介绍
一个班满班是24人，英语类和学术类课程国际学生和本地学生占比大概是1：1，国际学生来自中国、韩国、日本、印度、法国等地。非英语类和学术类课程目测本地学生比重比较大。
小学课程包含目前最流行的STEAM、年级衔接课程、语言艺术、烹饪、表演艺术、体育运动等。
Choose from exciting classes in subjects including (science,technology,engineering, artsand math), grade level prep, programming, languagearts,cooking,performing arts,sports,and much more.
课程每年3月开放注册，热门课程如少年爱因斯坦等，很早就会满班，需要尽早预定。
三周131课时 Vs. 一年96课时
课程时间 上午 8：30 a.m - 12:00 p.m 下午 12：45 p.m - 4:15 p.m 课程持续三周，共14天周末不上课。如果全天都上的话，一天是7个小时，换算成课时数的话大概在131课时。
国内一般英语培训班，一周上2个课时，一年除去假期48周，总课时在96课时。

最后分享一下这次我儿子所上的课程，课程名字叫read write publish,课程安排是先和小朋友介绍书的分类，然后介绍书的结构组成，小朋友按照书的结构自己完成每一部分，最后出版一本自己写的纸质书和一本电子书。
The class learning objectives are for the students to discover and understand different writing genres and literary devices through the exploration of literature and other types of text and apply that learning as authors. Some different genres we will explore are fantasy, realistic fiction, informative/explanatory, personal narrative and poetry. In order to further enhance student writing, we will also address writing conventions and vocabulary building. The students will use the writing process throughout the sesseion and will end with publishing both hard copy and digital books.
