I think it's reasonable for the university to add a study room in each dormitory. Since many students share a dorm, noise is unavoidable. So for students who want to study in the dorm, they find the dorm noisy and they are likely to get distracted. What's more, with an extra study room, students are able to find more space to accommodate their stuff.

Should students choose their own courses, or should the professors assign the courses to them?

I think students should be allowed to choose their own courses. When students are enforced to enroll in some courses that they show no interest in, they cannot find enough motivation to delve deep into the courses. As a result, they merely get fragmented knowledge. By contrast, when students can decide which courses to take by themselves, they are willing to take more initiative to learn. Therefore, they are more likely to deepen their understanding of the courses.

One of your friends wants to buy a car to replace his bike but he needs to work part-time to earn the money. What advice would you give your friend and why?

In my opinion, it's reasonable to use the old bike instead of switching to a car. In order to afford a new car, my friend has to do a part time job to accumulate money. However, this requires him to make a balance between his full time job and part time job. I think it's both physically and mentally challenging. What's more, it's really convenient for users to use ride sharing apps to get a ride. So I would suggest my friend to keep riding the old bike.

Task2
When people are working, some prefer to do hard work first and then do easy work, while others want to do the easy work first and then do the hard one. Which way do you prefer?

I prefer to give priority to hard work and do easy work after finishing hard work. When I do hard work first, I have enough energy. Therefore, I can concentrate on the task at my disposal. However, if I do easy work first, miscellaneous information might pop into my mind. So when I begin to do the hard work, I might fail to keep a clear mind and make some mistakes.

More and more people tend to post their personal information online. What are the advantages and disadvantages of it?

I know some workers who share their achievements at work and their reflections on work on the internet. I think online sharing can facilitate workers' evolution in the workplace, since when workers summarize their achievements, they can clearly identify their strengths and weaknesses. Then, they can take actions to maintain the strengths and reduce weaknesses. However, such people might have to face the loss of privacy.

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
Celebrities are more competent to do charity because they are rich and powerful.

Although celebrities are rich enough to do charity, I think it's reasonable for normal people to engage in charitable activities. In my opinion, people's daily activities can lead to accumulating effects and normal people can take part in charitable activities in their community. Take myself as an example. I work with the volunteers to provide help for those in need in our community. Although I have to give up my free time, volunteering gives me a purpose in my life.
